Amazon Crew Services was founded with a clear purpose: to provide Crew Change and spare parts logistics services for vessels with greater organization, efficiency, and, above all, personalized support. The project was born from the union of complementary experiences and visions.
On one side, the expertise of Taciane Lacerda, a professional specialized in spare parts logistics for vessels since 2013. On the other, the consolidated track record of the partners from Grupo BPA — Manoel Gonçalves, Alex Antunes, and Jefferson Modesto. From the beginning, we combined technical knowledge, structured operations, and a full focus on those at sea and those making operations happen on shore. Crew Change and Spare Parts have always been at the core of our work.
During the pandemic, we proved our ability to deliver solutions. With closed borders, canceled flights, and countless restrictions, we kept all operations running — with safety, responsibility, and care.
Over the years, we expanded our scope. Today, we are a Crew & Port Services company, offering full support for vessels in Brazil, including:
Customs clearance of vessel spare parts;
Documentation processing with Federal Revenue, Federal Police, and ANVISA;
Delivery of parts, documents, and supplies directly onboard;
Assistance during inspections such as PSC, audits, and UW (underwater inspections);
Management of medical emergencies, crew removals, and hospitalization;
Coordination of processes for technical documentation, certificates, and regulatory compliance;
Transportation, accommodation, and Meet & Greet services for crew, technicians, and suppliers.
Our team has also grown. In addition to the founding partners, we now have two operational partners who play an essential role in management: Mayk Douglas and Alexandre Coelho.
We remain true to the same commitment that brought us here: doing things right, and taking care of each client, each crew member, and each partner — as if they were the only one.
During an anchorage operation off the coast of Natal, we were called in to carry out an urgent medical evacuation. A crew member in critical condition — unable to walk, speak, or respond — needed to be evacuated immediately.
Our team coordinated the entire operation, including clearance with authorities, aerial logistics via helicopter, and hospital assistance. After weeks of hospitalization and intensive care, the crew member made a full recovery.
In the midst of the process, we also faced the challenge of the passport, which had continued its journey with the vessel. We worked closely with the Embassy of the Philippines to issue an emergency travel document, ensuring his safe return to his home country.
Result: a life preserved and repatriation successfully completed.
During an operation at the Port of Paranaguá, we were called to assist a crew member who had suffered an onboard accident involving caustic soda. In addition to managing all local medical care, it was necessary to coordinate international logistics to ensure his safe return to his home country.
One of our team operators personally accompanied the crew member to Dubai, providing full support throughout the journey — from departure in Brazil to final disembarkation — while complying with all medical and operational protocols.
Result: repatriation successfully completed, with full medical and logistical support.
We were assigned the mission of carrying out a crew change involving 13 disembarkations and 13 embarkations in less than 10 hours, with the vessel located on the left bank of the Port of Santos — accessible only by launch.
The challenge was even greater because the arriving crew members were disembarking at night, significantly reducing the operational window, as authorities close their activities at 10 p.m.
Through highly precise logistics, full alignment with all stakeholders, and an operation conducted right at the time limit, the crew change was successfully completed without any impact on the vessel’s schedule.
Result: operation concluded with excellence, further strengthening the client’s confidence in our team’s performance.
